This work was inspired by a multiplicity of contemplations and considerations that arose in conversation about knitting with the artists' grandmother. Her grandmother, Vilda, was convinced it was impossible cast on and knit with paper, the artist was convinced otherwise. This work is therefore demonstrates a kind of resolution to these kinds of conversations the artist shared with her grandmother. This work was furthermore realised through an engagement with travel, stillness and longing.
