The Southern Cross Environmental Innovations Research Centre aims to lead research into the interface between environmental science, management and policy, and is headed by Professor Bill Boyd. It seeks to develop understandings of ecological principles and human behaviour associated with environmental and natural resource management, and to apply these findings to environmental and natural resource management, policy development and practice. The Southern Cross Environmental Innovations Research Centre engages academics from across the sciences and humanities to produce research designed to address the urgent environmental management needs of the 21st Century.
