Safety and young people with disability (Centre for Children and Young People)

This research explores how children and young people with disability view their safety and safety needs within a range of institutions, including schools, disability services, out-of-home care, vacation care, therapy services, employment services and community centres. It was conducted for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, and was part of a larger study on how children understand and experience safety in institutions. This was conducted by the Australian Catholic University Institute of Child Protection Studies.
