Abstract
ARTIST STATEMENT This project seeks to align Medieval Aesthetics with phenomenology through explorations of ‘acts of courting’ as a creative strategy. Drawing upon formal and formalised courtly encounters, production and reception are imagined as performative practices enacted through moments of aventure: moments when the random and the preordained might meet.
