Abstract
The strength and conditioning and rehabilitation sectors use the deadlift as an integral part of their programming. The purpose of this study was to identify possible kinetic benefits of performing a conventional deadlift in a shod or unshod condition, which is an observed practice among some strength and conditioning coaches.
