This study has investigated the existing level and the anticedents of organizational learning practices in a SMEs context in a developing country, Indonesia. Using web-based survey, data was collected from owner/managers and employees of SMEs in Indonesia. Descriptive analysis using SPSS release 19 revealed that organizational learning practices exist in Indonesian SMEs. Further analysis using AMOS, it was found that organizational culture, transformational leadership and empowerment are valid antecedents of organizational learning. This study also found that trust amongst employees and a culture of trust are two crucial aspects for the existence of an organizational learning process.
